Golf
There are 4 local 18 hole courses within 20 minutes of the cabins. Grand Lake Golf Course, Golf Granby Ranch, Pole Creek Golf Course, and Grand Elk Golf Course. All offer amazing views that are unrivaled in North America. |

Skiing/Snowboarding
There are two ski resorts in the area. Ski Granby Ranch is a family style resort just 15 miles from the cabins, and Winter Park is only a 25 minute drive. Both resorts offer full rental and lesson services. |

Horseback Riding
Join the fun of horse riding in Colorado through miles and miles of scenic trails in the most spectacular country you can imagine. Horseback riding is the ideal way to fully appreciate the majestic Rocky Mountains, and all they have to offer. There are 2 stables within a few minutes of the lodge, Fun for every age and skill level. |

Boating
A great way to enjoy the day is floating and paddling through some of the peaceful lakes in the area.
All 3 lakes are located within 5 minutes of our cabins. There are many different marinas to rent from that have pontoon boats, kayaks, and canoes. |

Snowmobiling
Whether you are new to the sport or an experienced operator, the 140 miles of groomed snowmobiling trails in the area are the best around! Bring your own or rent a machine to explore the scenic pine forest backcountry - there are many rental shops throughout the county. We'll help you with discounted rentals at our partner agancies! Beginners might want to start with an escorted tour to enjoy the views, and kids can even try out the smaller snow scooters available at some locations. The rolling ranchlands around Kremmling, Colorado become a haven for snowmobilers when the snow starts to fly in. |

Fishing of all Types
With Miles of rivers, including the Colorado river headwaters, grand county fly fishing is the envy of the world. The best fly fishing in Arapaho National Forest can be found right below the nearby dam. Fish all three lakes from the shore or a boat, or try your hand at ice fishing. Trout is best caught at the beginning of summer, with the best time to catch salmon being late in the summer. Sport fishing has become quite popular on the lake for its diverse trout species and kokanee salmon. The reservoir provides a healthy fishery for cutthroat, rainbow, brook and brown trout, along with arctic grayling and splake.

Wildlife Viewing
When it comes to Grand Lake’s diversity of wildlife, what you see today has changed very little in the past century: Elk, deer, yellow-bellied marmots, coyotes, beaver, black bear, eagles, red-tailed hawks, osprey, stellar jays and hummingbirds, are just an example of some of the wildlife that can be seen in this area. We frequently enjoy seeing moose, red fox, chipmunks and ground squirrels right on the property! |
