2) Friends & Family Campfire behind the 6-10 Bldg. First come, first serve for just your group.
3) RV/Private Campfire- Available for non-RV guests when the RV spaces are open.
Wood is $5/large bundle at the office and comes with newspaper and a fire starter. Kindling of 1" or less in diameter may be gathered from the property. (Do not break it off live vegetation or take mulch out of the playground.) Roasting sticks are on the front of the water shed in the center island. S'mores Kits and marshmallows are for sale in the office.
Berries- Mid-Summer through fall guests may pick from our raspberries, currants, gooseberries, blueberries and strawberries!
Herbs- Throughout the summer, we grow a variety of herbs to add a fresh touch to your meals.
Please enjoy them only while on site. Supervise children so they pick appropriately and are gentle with our plants.
Enjoy fishing in our backyard canal. Equipment and licenses are available at nearby Beacon Landing Marina.
Guests may borrow from our collections in the office for free! We ask only that you take care of the items and make sure they're returned complete and in good condition.
Playing cards and a variety of board games are available.
Borrow non-fiction and guides about Colorado fishing, skills, plants, wildlife and attractions to enjoy while you're here.
Borrow a DVD to watch on your laptop or borrow a player from us to watch on your room's TV.
Guests of Mountain Lakes Lodge may use the watercraft at our North Shore Location, 1 mile away. A canoe, paddleboat and (4) sit-upon kayaks, plus life jackets are available to use on Lake Granby only, on a first come, first served basis. Staff must have in their possession, a signed Liability Waiver for each person using the equipment. NO EXCEPTIONS! Waiver may be printed via the "About" tab on this website, obtained in the office or found in the back of your Welcome Book in the room.
Take a novel home with you and leave the one you've finished if you can. We also have magazines you may keep.
